Clean cars with room for gross.
I'm Ali Hijazi. I've been buying at auction since 2005. I bid for franchise stores from their own auction account. One max bid per car. I only get paid on cars I buy you.
Your account. Your number. You see every bid, win and pass.

You paid MMR plus on the hot unit because three other stores wanted it.
The CR said clean. The recon bill didn't.
Your lot is full of what everybody else is selling, and it's getting old.
Four steps. You see every bid.

Set me up
You need two things: vAuto, and an auction account I can bid from as your authorized rep.
I work the lists
Every run list goes through CarGurus StockVantage and my own scoring. I check every car, set one max bid, and bid at your dealer number.
You see everything
Every bid, every win and every pass shows up in your own account.
Six things before I put a number on it.
CR
I read the whole condition report and the photos. The grade alone doesn't tell you enough.
Announcements
Frame, title, odometer, whatever the auction announced. I read every one.
MMR
Where the car trades wholesale, so my max is set before the car hits the block.
Retail comps
What the same car is listed for near you, so there's room for front gross.
Day supply
How many like it are already sitting in your market. I want the ones your market is short on.
Recon
What it takes to get it frontline ready. If it needs a lot, I pass.
"When the big buyers pay full MMR on the hot unit, I let them. I find the clean one two lanes over that still has gross in it."
Ali Hijazi
In the lanes since 2005. I make every bid myself.

Buying for franchise stores outside California.
- I've run recon, service, marketing and the desk. I know what a car costs you after the auction.
- Dale Pollak trained me on vAuto years ago. Since then I built my own scoring and bidding system.
- Every list runs through CarGurus StockVantage, and I use AI to read the listings. Every bid is my call.
- I go through thousands of cars a day. I know when to stop, and what not to buy, down to trim and color.
- I still buy for my own store with my own store's money. I buy yours the same way.
What's on me, and what's on your store.
How we work
- Paid per car.
- You pay when I buy you a car.
- Your account, your number.
- I bid as your authorized rep. You see every bid, win and pass.
- First look in your segment.
- Your buy box gets first look in your segment. We'll put exactly how that works in writing before I bid. And I never bid a client's car against my own store.
When a car comes back
- No fee on arbs.
- If a car gets arbed, you don't pay me for it.
- If I miss it, it's on me.
- If a car comes back because I misread the CR or missed an announcement, I make it right with you. We agree how before I start.
- Auction calls.
- Bad calls on the auction side are part of the business, same as when you buy yourself.
What I stand behind
When I bid, it's because the car reads clean, needs little recon, has room for front gross, and your market is short on it. That's what I answer for.
What I don't promise
How fast a car turns or your final gross. That comes down to your merchandising, your sales team and your F&I.
Who this is for.
You'll need
- vAuto
- An auction account I can bid from as your authorized rep
- A franchise store outside California
I don't buy
- Exotics
- Commercial units
Any other brand or segment is fair game.
What GMs ask me.
You own a store. Why would I trust you with my money?
My store is in California and I only take clients outside California. I never bid a client's car against my own store, and you see every bid I place in your own account.
You're not here. How do you buy for my market?
I bid from your auction account. Your day supply and retail comps tell me what sells in your market and what's already sitting there. Your buy box tells me the rest.
Why pay per car instead of keeping a buyer on payroll?
You pay when a car gets bought, and there's no fee on arbs. Keep your buyer if you want. I'll work the lists your buyer can't get to.
What if I don't like a car you bought?
You set the buy box, and I buy inside it. If I misread the CR or missed an announcement, I handle it. If you see something you don't like, tell me and I'll tighten the box.
How fast can we start?
Once I can see your vAuto and I'm set up as your rep on your auction account, I can start bidding. Send your buy box first and I'll show you what I would have bid on this week.
Which auctions?
Any auction your account can reach.
Do you use AI to pick the cars?
AI reads the listings and StockVantage runs the numbers. I make every bid myself.
What's the fee?
It's per car, only on cars I buy you, and nothing on arbs. I'll send you the number with your first list.
Send your buy box.
Tell me what you want on the lot. I'll run it against this week's lists and send back what I would have bid on.
I read every one myself. Nothing gets bid until you set me up on your account.
